2022 Worlds Wrap Up

The glitterati of the sailing world gathered in Cowes for the 2022 Etchells Worlds hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron with more than 12 past Etchells World Champions competing. 42 teams gathered in Cowes from Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States of America.

Proposed Rule Changes Pass

Class Rule Change Proposals

The IGC is proposing amendments to the IECA class rules per the IECA Constitution, Section 13. March 24, 2022 begins the eight week notice period for a vote by electronic ballot.

New IECA Constitution in Effect

The class voted to approve a new Constitution during a voting period that ending 6 February 2022. In order for that Constitution to become effective, the class has been working with World Sailing to satisfy Regulation 10, which requires that World Sailing have an opportunity to review and comment on the new Constitution.
